Ajawid 2 Initiative Wins an International Award

The Ajawid 2 initiative has been awarded the prestigious Communitas Award in the category of Excellence in Community Service. The award, presented by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP), recognizes outstanding contributions in the fields of social responsibility and community service.

The award covers several tracks, most notably community service, corporate social responsibility, and the integration of community service with social responsibility.
The Director General of Community Development, Dr. Thansar Al-Faifi, explained that the initiative’s receipt of this award resulted from partnership and community engagement, as the community was a key partner in the design and implementation of the initiative.
Ajawid 2 has joined a distinguished list of previous winners, including NASA, Toyota, Mastercard, Qatar Foundation, the Academy of American Poets, and the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training in Kuwait.
Ajawid 2 implemented 7,043 volunteer initiatives across three tracks: awareness, giving, and strength. More than 107,466 individuals from the Aseer Region participated, contributing 67,300 volunteer hours through more than 3,684 governmental and non-governmental entities.
