Power Grid Reliability

Power grid reliability increased from 2018-2021, when the number of power cuts reduced from 9 to 3.85 times, and the duration decreased from 221 minutes to 106 minutes. The projects responsible for improving Aseer’s power grid reliability are:

  1. Existing and approving 27 projects, like the construction of a 380 kV Khamis Mushait housing station, linking Al-Fara’a station to Najran University, constructing the Wadi Ibn Hashbal station, etc.
  2. Securing backup generators for all government departments.
