Aseer is famous for a number of food products indigenous to the area, most notably:

Honey

Aseer is famous for organic honey due to its climatic diversity and vegetation cover. Some of the most popular variants are: Forkah honey, Sidra honey, Majara honey, and summer honey.

Coffee

Aseer region has been known to cultivate coffee for centuries. There are almost 20,823 coffee Planets in the region, producing 250 tons of green coffee and 83 tons of pure dry coffee.

Zero

Zero is a variety of dates famous in Bisha Governorate. It also has an annual festival that acts as an important source of economy.

Animal Products

The region is known for its agricultural and animal products, especially in the Sarat Mountains where the climate and quality of soil is excellent for growth and development of flora and fauna.

Some of these products are wheat, ghee, honey and milk. In the Aseer region, they have great social, nutritional and historical value. The most important of these foods are: Al Arekah, Mashghouth, Al Mabthoutha, Al Tasabi’, Al Tharif, Al Hadidah, Al Mursa, Al Aseedah, and Al Tannour Breads.
