Under the Patronage of Prince Turki bin Talal, Abha Summer Festival 2022 Kicks Off
Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Talal bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Aseer Region and Chairman of the Aseer Development Authority, the “Abha Summer Festival 2022” kicks off on Thursday, July 28, in the northern area of the city at “Sama Abha.”
The festival is the first in a series of year-round tourism events scheduled to take place in the Aseer region. This year’s edition will run from July 28 to September 24.
The festival offers a wide range of entertainment programs and activities across five zones: the Carnival & Adventure Zone, the Children’s Zone, Retail & Shopping Zones, the “Mefana” Experience Zone, and a Village of Arts & Entertainment. The entire venue spans approximately 126,000 square meters.
In addition to being a major tourism and entertainment destination for visitors, the festival also provides numerous employment opportunities for local residents—offering valuable experience in tourism, entertainment, and marketing sectors, while also delivering positive economic impact across the community.
